Alhamdulillah, Platform 2024 was a success!
PLATFORM 2024 HIGHLIGHTS
- Over 2,250 people in attendance.
- Over 300 people in Junior Platform (under 10 years old).
- 43 lectures and khatirahs (reminders) delivered by over 20 speakers (excluding Junior Platform).
- Over 840 people attended Gala Night.
- 21 people awarded academic scholarships of $30,000.
- Another 21 people came out winners in the Annual Qur’an Competition taking home almost $15,000 and trophies. (View Winners)
- 3 young entrepreneurs/teams were awarded $10,250 to support their businesses.
- 30 youth inducted into the ASPIRE 2025 cohort and 15 fellows graduated from the 2024 cohort.
- 6 distinguished individuals and 3 chapters were presented with special NCNMO awards.
- Over 15 couples took advantage of the personalized counseling sessions.
- Over 40 people participated in the “Halal Connections” matrimonial programs.
- Special recognition for outstanding volunteers and donors.

Propagation of Islam and Service to Humanity
The National Council of Nigeria Muslim Organization was inaugurated in Washington DC in 1976, with only three foundation chapters from New Jersey, Washington DC and New York. The first constitutional conference was thereafter held in Newark, New Jersey.
The initial constitution established the offices of General Secretary and the Mission General. The General Secretary was empowered to manage the administrative affairs while the Mission General, had the ultimate authority which covers both the spiritual and religious activities of the organization.

We are excited to announce the details of the NCNMO’s second meeting of the year, the Annual General Meeting.
PLATFORM 2025
Platform is the main conference of NCNMO that takes place every year during the winter break. The conference lasts for 4 days and is attended by both young people and adults who come together to enhance their understanding of Islam while fostering a sense of community. Platform is open to all Muslims or anyone who intends to become a Muslim.
