The German Village area has restored brick houses built by 1800s settlers.

Propagation of Islam and Service to Humanity
The National Council of Nigeria Muslim Organization was inaugurated in Washington DC in 1976, with only three foundation chapters from New Jersey, Washington DC and New York. The first constitutional conference was thereafter held in Newark, New Jersey.
The initial constitution established the offices of General Secretary and the Mission General. The General Secretary was empowered to manage the administrative affairs while the Mission General, had the ultimate authority which covers both the spiritual and religious activities of the organization.

Young Adult Summer Retreat
The Young Adult Summer Retreat (YASR) aims to increase our knowledge about Islam while networking with our peers, exploring unique elements of our Islamic faith, building a positive American Muslim identity. Additionally, we strive to set the foundation for interpersonal relationships, develop community leaders while also engaging in community development. YASR is intended for all young Muslim professionals ages 18-39.

PLATFORM 2025
Platform is the main conference of NCNMO that takes place every year during the winter break. The conference lasts for 4 days and is attended by both young people and adults who come together to enhance their understanding of Islam while fostering a sense of community. Platform is open to all Muslims or anyone who intends to become a Muslim.
